Among the may statues created by Bowen for the leader of the X-Men, the X-Factor variant is the most recent one and, undoubtedly, my favorite. Digitally sculpted by Khurram Alavi and released in 2012 as a Website Exclusive, th epiece exhibits a sculpt substantially identical to the Modern and Retro versions, from which it differs in the position of the left hand, the particular color of the costume and the limited edition size of only 328 samples worldwide, which makes it (theoretically) the rarest among the different variants. Scott Summers is erect in a frontal pose, with the legs apart enough, his right arm bent with the clenched fist and the left raised and stretched out, pointing the finger towards the hypothetical enemy in turn. The costume has a decidedly modern look, with two large and white "X" centered on front and back, which extend in wide side stripes on both arms and legs. The white color also characterizes the high boots and gloves (both with semi-rigid lapels) and the central band on the head, while the rest of the suit is painted with a very nice dark blue. The choice to diversify the highlighting of the muscular contours on the different colored zones of the figure is winning. In fact, in the white parts the painting appears more uniform and both on the abdomen and the shoulders the muscle definition is left entirely to the excellent sculpt. On the contrary, in the parts coated by the blue color (in particular, chest and legs) the sculptural lines are enhanced by very dark and deep nuances, thus achieving an overall great aesthetic impact. The face is simple and essential, characterized by an elongated shape and the noticeable golden viewer (with two circular ends covering the ears of the hero) and the red slot in ruby quartz; also the mouth is very well done, open, with tongue and teeth in evidence and numerous, delicate nuances to highlight the visible contours of the face. The base is colored with a beautiful and vaguely metallic blue tonality and is made (as in many statues dedicated to other mutants) by two circular platforms of different sizes, enriched by bolts and grooves, bearing the typical "X" logo of the team in relief. Ultimately, a nice collectible and a statue of a good qualitative level, rather original in the costume design and well colored: a worthy representation of the leader of the X-Men and, by far, one the most charismatic representatives of the entire mutant world.
